Brew the Extraordinary: the new chapter of Barsel and its coffee brand rebranding

by David Baldoví on Nov 13, 2025
Brew the Extraordinary: el nuevo capítulo de Barsel y su rebranding de marca de café

At Barsel, we've been dedicated to coffee since 1981, and today, more than forty years later, we feel it's time to evolve. Not to change who we are, but to better express everything that drives us.

This rebranding of Barsel represents a significant step within the coffee sector. It's an evolution of our image, our packaging, and our communication style, with the goal of continuing to grow without losing our core essence.
A step forward that unites tradition, craft and a more contemporary way of understanding coffee.

We go beyond a change of image, as we understand this new stage as a natural evolution of a story with a view to continuing to grow, and driven by the same dedication that has accompanied us from day one.

A creative and sustainable identity: the new design of Barsel

Barsel's new visual universe is presented as a point of convergence between craft and passion. The result is a cleaner, more modern image, consistent with our essence: authentic, approachable, and creative.

Green becomes our primary color—a shade that represents both nature and traceability, as well as the creative energy that brings our product to life. Alongside it, white and black reinforce the elegance and clarity we strive for at every point of contact.

The change also stems from a conviction: the future of coffee must be responsible.
That's why we've opted for recyclable and reusable metal packaging, reducing environmental impact and promoting a more circular economy.

Green is part of a commitment: to create excellent coffee while caring for the environment that makes it possible. A commitment to quality, sustainability, and to all the people who trust Barsel every day.

Our new coffee ranges: domestic and professional

The redesign of our packaging also marks a new way of understanding how coffee is experienced. We have divided our products into two main families:

Domestic range : designed for those who enjoy coffee at home and want to experience a specialty coffee.

Professional range : created for cafes, restaurants and businesses that trust Barsel every day to offer the best coffee to your customers.

Each range features a distinct color and design, maintaining the brand's new visual consistency. We've also created new names and labels that make it easier to identify each variety, highlighting its origin, bean type, and flavor profile. All of this is presented with a visual language that showcases the product's value and makes choosing the perfect coffee easier.

If you want to know how this new stage translates into each coffee, we invite you to discover our new domestic and professional ranges .

A new way to connect with the Barsel community and coffee lovers

This new phase doesn't end with the packaging. It extends to our website, our communication, and our events.

We want those of you who enjoy Barsel to feel like you're part of it too. That's why we've focused on also being a space to learn, share, and enjoy coffee as a creative experience.

Barsel's new website is more visual, intuitive, and user-friendly. Here you'll find inspiration, knowledge, and products designed to accompany you at every moment of your day. Plus, we'll soon be launching new events and experiences to continue demonstrating that coffee can be much more than just a beverage: it can be a way to create, connect, and enjoy.

The everyday can be extraordinary

With this new stage we reaffirm our promise: to continue producing an artisanal, authentic and committed coffee, but now with a more open, creative and contemporary perspective.

Because at Barsel we believe that the extraordinary lies not in what changes, but in the way we do it every day.

Brew the Extraordinary.
