WHAT TYPE OF ROAST SHOULD I CHOOSE? Depending on the type of roast, we can shape the flavor of the coffee. To choose the roast we must take into account what type of preparation we are going to do to the coffee and of course our tastes and preferences. A light roast will give us a coffee that retains more complexity of flavors and more acidity but on the other hand we will lose intensity and body, recommended for preparations with filter or electric coffee makers. The medium roast is the one we recommend since it is very balanced and versatile to be able to prepare it in more different ways without sacrificing flavor. Indicating both for espresso preparation or filter coffee makers such as electric or moka or Italian. And a dark roast will give us more intensity of flavor, bitterness and body, losing acidity and complexity of flavor. We recommend this roast for lovers of Italian espresso, full-bodied and intense in flavor. We do not recommend this roast for filter coffee makers, such as electric ones.
